My wife had our son 2 days ago. Now her legs and feet are starting to swell up pretty big. Does anyone know why? Should we be concerned?

Also it could be from the IV fluids that were or were not given to your wife. My cousin received her epidural and they proceeded to pump her with alot of IV fluids. Her legs and feet became Very swollen also. She drank lots of fluids and over the next couple of days they went back to normal
yes. tell the doctor. it's supposed to go DOWN after. she might have a clot of high blood pressure.
Swelling of the feet usually happens before giving birth and will subside thereafter.Swelling of the feet is one of the signs of preeclampsia and this condition will be resolved when you gave birth already.
